Since 1993 the Condo 1 team has made it our goal to provide unique services to Arlington, Alexandria and Fairfax county homeowners. Recognizing that condominium owners were being woefully undeserved by the real estate community, Condo 1 has made it our mission to give condominium owners the same level of respect and service as the rest of the real estate community.

Beginning from a small office in the Port Royal Condominium in Old Town Alexandria under the tutelage of John W. Walker (Walker Real Estate), agents who specialized in the luxury high-rise buildings of Rosslyn (e.g., The Atrium and The Belvedere) formed a corporation whose name highlighted their specialty. Since then Condo 1 has built a strong following among condominium owners in Arlington, Alexandria, Falls Church and other areas of Northern Virginia. We also have become the most active real estate brokerage firm in several townhouse communities. In addition, our property management division has grown from managing individual units to small commercial projects.

Thomas K. Meyer – President and Founder of Condo 1, is a licensed real estate broker who has specialized in condominium and townhouse properties since 1988. In 1993 he formed Condo 1 in order to indicate his company’s dedication to serving owners and buyers in Arlington and Alexandria condominium communities. Over the ensuing two decades Mr. Meyer and his agents have handled nearly one thousand condominium sales for local clients and rented thousands more.

Mr. Meyer has served on the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors Political Action Committee, the boards of directors for both the Odyssey Condominium in Arlington and the Woodlake Towers Condominium in Falls Church, is a member of the Friedman Foundation for Educational Choice, and is a former member of the Virginia state association’s Political Action Committee. He is also a member of the National Space Society, the Institute for Justice and the Cato Institute. In his spare time Mr. Meyer travels, plays tennis, writes bad science fiction stories that no one will publish and has done Zero-G cosmonaut training in Russia.

Julia has been lending support to Condo 1 since 2012, but officially became a licensed Virginia agent and full-time fixture of the Condo1 team in 2014. A native North Carolinian, Julia was intrigued by the DC political scene and interned on Capitol Hill. She has resided in Arlington since 2008. She is involved and connected to the Orange Line Corridor neighborhoods and local businesses which makes her a great asset for those new to the area. If you are looking for a place to call home and need a good restaurant recommendation, look no further.

Julia holds a B.A. in Public Relations and Journalism from North Carolina State University. She is an avid runner, news and weather junkie and as a former competitive swimmer, loves all things water-related.

Natalie joined the Condo 1 team as a Property Manager in 2012. She has resided in Northern Virginia for 22 years since arriving from her native homeland of Peru. She is proficient in English and Spanish, with additional capabilities in Portuguese.

Travel is a favorite pastime, as she has traveled to Peru, Brazil, Cancun, Las Vegas, California and many area beaches during summertime. In her spare time she enjoys watching movies, fishing, playing soccer, volleyball and reading novels. With a background in the study of Forensic Psychology, Natalie recently decided to pursue a real estate license in order to assist friends, family and other Condo 1 clients purchasing homes. And building upon years of customer service has helped Natalie to – most importantly – become a client-centered companion agent whose goal is to help you find the perfect place that helps you realize your homeowner dreams!

Michelle left behind her dental career to become a Realtor in 2015. She is passionate about helping people find homes that fit their budget and lifestyle and educating them throughout the buying or selling process.

A native of California, Michelle is bilingual. When she’s not busy planning her next travel adventure, she spends time with her family and Pomeranian, practices yoga, cooks and reads about psychology.
